Vautir keeps several accounts on one device, such as one for work and one for home: in the browser extension, and in the apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, Windows and Linux.
Add an account
Open Account and choose Add another account. Or, on the lock screen, choose Use another account (Switch account, once there are several), then Add an account. Log in, or create an account. The accounts you already had stay.
Switch
Choose Switch to… under Account, or on the lock screen. Switching locks the account you were using, and shows the other’s lock screen.
One at a time
Only the account in use is ever unlocked. Menus on web pages, autofill on your phone, the popup and saving see that account’s logins and no other’s.
Each account opens only with its own master password, or its own face or fingerprint unlock. None is kept to open another.
Remove an account
Remove this account, on the lock screen, takes an account off that device and leaves the rest. It doesn’t delete the account itself: your vault stays on our servers and on your other devices.
With the desktop app
A browser paired with the desktop app unlocks through it only while the account it was paired for is the one unlocked.
