See your devices
Account lists the devices your account is logged in on. Their names are encrypted, so only your devices can read them: our servers see that a device exists, never what it’s called.
Sign a device out
Choose a device and sign it out. Do this for a device you’ve lost or sold. It can no longer sync, and it can’t log in again without your master password and Secret Key.
Signing out stops a device syncing. It can’t reach into the device and erase the copy of the vault already on it, which stays encrypted and needs your master password, or that device’s biometrics, to open.
After 30 days
A device’s login lasts 30 days. After that, the device keeps working with its own copy of your vault, and shows Log in again. Log in, and it syncs, keeping any changes it had made.
After you change your master password
Every other device is signed out, and asks for the new password. See Changing your master password.
The web vault
Each login to the web vault counts as a device, named for the browser, such as “Web vault (Chrome on macOS)”.
