Organizing with vaults, tags and favorites

Split your items into vaults, such as one for work or one to share, move items between them, and find things with tags and favorites.

Vaults

A vault is a group of items with a key of its own. Everyone starts with one, called Personal.

Open Vaults: under Account in the browser extension and the phone apps, and in the sidebar of the web vault and the desktop apps.

  • Make a vault for work, for your household, or for something you’ll share.
  • Rename a vault at any time.
  • With more than one vault, All items can show one vault or all of them, and a new item asks which vault it goes in.
  • Move…, on an item, moves it to another vault, files included.

Your Personal vault can’t be shared: it’s where your settings live. To share, make another vault. See Sharing a vault.

Tags

Add tags to an item when you edit it, and search for a tag to find everything that has it. Folders, groups and categories from other password managers become tags when you import.

Favorites

Mark an item as a favorite, and it’s listed first in All items.
