Keep this somewhere safe, such as with your will, and tell someone you trust where it is.
Runs entirely in your browser. Vautir never sees what you make or check here.
How it works
The template covers what people most often need when someone can't be reached: the password manager first, because it opens everything else, then email, devices, money and contacts.
Vautir goes further with legacy contacts: the people you choose can ask for the vaults you leave them, and get them after a wait you set, unless you say no.
Questions
What's an Emergency Kit?
A page, kept on paper somewhere safe, that tells the people you trust how to reach what matters if you can't tell them yourself: your email, your bank, your password manager.
Should I write my passwords on it?
Only your password manager's master password, if anything, and only if the kit stays somewhere as safe as a passport: a safe, or with your will. Every other password should live in the password manager.
Is this the same as Vautir's Emergency Kit?
Vautir makes its own, with your recovery code and Secret Key filled in, when you set up recovery. This template is for everything around it, whatever password manager you use.
Why paper?
Paper can't be hacked, doesn't need a charged phone, and is still readable in twenty years. Fill it in by hand: nothing typed here is kept or sent.
